The present invention is a structure in which the adjacent beam flange is cut to increase the seismic performance of the steel column beam joint by attaching the cover plate to the upper and lower parts of the beam flange and to prevent possible cracks at the end of the cover plate. As a result of repeated loading experiments using the structural analysis program Zeus-NL, it was confirmed that the proposed structure has higher energy dissipation capacity and lower initial stiffness than general structures. In addition, suitability was judged through regression analysis using the commercial program Sigma-Plot, and the design flexural strength equation presented by AISC was lower than the actual breaking moment strength, so it was possible to confirm that the design condition was satisfied.
