The apparatus for predicting muscle injury during repetitive work activities of a worker includes: a data collection unit for collecting EMG data of the worker from an EMG sensor attached to the worker; a memory for storing a machine learning model trained to estimate muscle state information including muscle variability from input data; generating the input data from the EMG data, estimating the muscle state information based on the machine learning model from the generated input data, and determining whether there is a risk of injury to the worker based on the muscle state information processor; and in response to the case where there is a risk of injury to the worker, an output unit for providing a warning about the risk of injury to the worker.
