Disclosed are a voltage sag control optimization method and system. The present invention provides a voltage sag control optimization method that comprehensively takes into account the voltage compensation range, response time, and voltage support time of control devices, user device sag tolerances, and user-side sag event distribution characteristics. A new index Pnewly added, which denotes the probability of a voltage sag event occurring within the area range of a newly added normal operation region, is used to characterize the control performance of respective sag control devices or respective combinations of the devices, thereby improving the effectiveness and reliability of voltage sag control.
