The invention relates to a selection of a power setpoint (P_ref_bat) transmitted to a battery (BAT) for a primary frequency adjustment of an electrical network (RES). We then plan to: /a/ obtain a measurement of the frequency (f) of the network (RES), /b/ calculate at least according to the frequency difference between the measured frequency (f) and the nominal frequency, a first power setpoint (P_ref_gross), calculated according to a so-called "gross" model, and varying over time according to a first speed, and a second power setpoint (P_ref_filtered), calculated according to a so-called "filtered" model, and varying over time according to a second speed lower than the first speed.
