The present application relates to the field of medical data processing, and disclosed therein are a method and system for configuring medical resources. The system comprises an medical resource information acquisition module, a medical record information acquisition module, an information screening module, an information matching module 1, a population information acquisition module, an information matching module 2, a data analogy module, and an information comparison module. Corresponding data information is acquired and processed by means of the foregoing modules, thereby optimizing rural medical resource configuration. The method in the present application overcomes the problem in which using manual statistical data in the traditional sense is inaccurate, and achieves the optimization of rural medical resource configuration to the maximum extent.
