A personnel and case association analysis method and apparatus based on face recognition. The method comprises: acquiring information of personnel of interest, determining by means of the information whether the personnel of interest are identified personnel, and acquiring historical travel trajectory information of the personnel of interest, wherein the personnel of interest comprise personnel related to historical cases (S1); traversing the historical travel trajectory information, and determining an association relationship between trajectories of the personnel of interest and a case according to a capture time, latitude and longitude of a capture point and a captured travel mode corresponding to each trajectory in the historical travel trajectory information, and if the personnel of interest are unidentified personnel, comparing photos of the personnel of interest with photos of personnel involved in the case to determine the association relationship between the trajectories of the personnel of interest and the case. The association relationship between personnel and a case can be quickly and accurately analyzed according to face trajectories and case information by using face recognition technology and big data analysis and retrieval technology, effectively improving case handling efficiency and reducing misjudgment.
