Provided are an on-line intelligent inspection system and method for a transformer substation. A linkage signal of a main device and auxiliary device monitoring system is acquired, such that multi-dimensional information can be fused; moreover, corresponding sub-tasks are concurrently executed by using different execution systems, such that the inspection efficiency is guaranteed; and on the basis of data collected by each execution system, multi-dimensional detection data is fused, and full-automatic intelligent identification and analysis are performed, so as to form a linkage re-check. By means of the present invention, the automatic full-coverage on-line inspection of a transformer substation, the automatic re-check and handling of abnormal faults, and the remote operation and maintenance management of operation and maintenance personnel can be realized; and the problems of an inspection blind area being present, the coverage range of a single video being small, fault emergency handling not being performed in a timely manner, etc. during robot inspection are solved, such that the comprehensiveness, accuracy and intelligence of device inspection of a transformer substation are improved, and the system linkage capability in the transformer substation is improved.
