The invention relates to a method for manufacturing an air inlet lip, which comprises: - placing a blank opposite a three-dimensional forming surface of a die of a hydroforming tool, the three-dimensional surface comprising an outer annular portion for forming the outer wall of an air inlet lip, the outer annular portion comprising at least one opening indentation protruding from the three-dimensional surface, - forming an air inlet lip preform (60) by hydroforming the blank on the three-dimensional surface of the die, the air inlet lip preform having a U-shaped cross-section, the outer wall (61) of the air inlet lip comprising at least one recessed cavity (62) with a turned-in edge (620) and a bottom (621), the cavity having a shape matching the shape of said at least one opening indentation, - cutting an opening (622) in each recessed cavity (62) while retaining at least the turned-in edge (620) so as to obtain an air inlet lip comprising at least one opening having an edge formed integrally with the outer wall of said lip.
