This medical care assistance device comprises: a medication information acquisition unit for acquiring a medication time at which a therapeutic drug is administered to a patient; a physical condition information acquisition unit for acquiring physical condition information indicating the physical condition of the patient medicated with the therapeutic drug, and a physical condition time at which the physical condition information is obtained; a single-dose drug information acquisition unit for acquiring single-dose drug information indicating that a single-dose drug different from the therapeutic drug has been used on the patient, and a single-dose drug time at which the single-dose drug is administered; a medical information image data generation unit for generating medical information image data indicating a medical information image where the physical condition information and the single-dose drug information are arranged in chronological order; a medical information image data output unit for outputting the medical information image data; and a display unit for displaying the medical information image. In the medical information image, the physical condition information for within a predetermined symptom suppression duration from the single-dose drug time is displayed on the display unit in a different form from the physical condition information for outside the symptom suppression duration.
