The invention relates to an aid for the clear planning of process steps for batch processes in industrial plants. A table system with the process area (1), the graphics area (2) and the text area (3) is used for this purpose. The process step number (4), the start date (5) and the associated description (6) are shown in each line. A new feature of the invention is the graphic representation of the operating resources and apparatus involved using vertical lines in the graphic area (2), which are connected to one another by directed sections (7) corresponding to the flowing operating materials.
