PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forgotten item detection reporting system and a forgotten item detection reporting method capable of enabling an appropriate response when a forgotten item occurs. A forgotten item detection / reporting system describes an article detection unit having a sensor sheet, an information recording unit that records information based on a result detected by the article detection unit, and information recorded by the information recording unit.
