The point cloud geometry decoding method in the point cloud decoder uses a step to receive a bit stream containing a slice of a coded point cloud frame and an implicit geometry division to represent the geometry of the point in the slice's bounding box. The step of restoring an ocree, the current node of the ocree, includes a step that is divided by a quadtree (QT) or a binary (BT) division.
