To provide an authentication system usable even in a block in need of sanitary control.SOLUTION: An authentication system 1 includes: an iris authentication device 2 which performs iris authentication of an operator; a color bit camera 3 which photographs a color bit code provided to the operator; a color bit reader 4 which reads identification information such as a color bit ID from an image photographed by the color bit camera 3; and a management device 5 which has a linking DB 51 which links together UUID from the iris authentication device 2 and the identification information read by the color bit reader 4 for storage and which manages the location of the operator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
