To improve inspection accuracy of an arc-welding tip exhaustion state.SOLUTION: An exhaustion state inspection device 1 for an arc-welding tip 100 includes a retainer 10 which retains the arc-welding tip 100, and laser equipment 21 which irradiates the arc-welding tip 100, which is retained by the retainer 10, with slit light. The exhaustion state inspection device comprises: measuring means (sensor unit 20 and control unit 50) for measuring a cross-sectional contour line image of the arc-welding tip 100 when the arc-welding tip 100 is cut by a light cutting surface formed by slit light; and a determination part 51 for determining an exhaustion state of the arc-welding tip 100 on the basis of plural cross-sectional contour line images measured by the measuring means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
