Disclosed are a human-computer interaction method and system based on a capacitive touch screen. The method comprises: using an electronic device having a capacitive touch screen to collect a capacitance change signal generated by a finger touching the capacitive touch screen; extracting an effective part of the capacitance change signal, wherein the effective part represents a capacitance signal change between a start point and an end point of the finger touching the capacitive screen; extracting a Mel-frequency cepstral coefficient with respect to the effective part of the capacitance change signal according to an identification degree for touch sensing; taking the Mel-frequency cepstral coefficient as an input feature of a trained hidden Markov model, so as to recognize the type of the finger that touches the capacitive touch screen; and controlling a screen interaction function of the electronic device according to a set association relationship between a finger type and a touch screen function. By means of the present invention, inputs of different fingers to a capacitive touch screen can be accurately recognized, thereby expanding a human-computer interaction function of an electronic device.
