The invention relates to a method for analysing the execution of a construction project, comprising the stages of creating a sparse point cloud (3) from an array of images, generating a common positioning between the sparse point cloud (3) and a data model (4) on the basis of a number of check points (11), selecting a comparison mode, choosing a plurality of model elements (5, 6, 7) included in the data model, where the type of model element depends on the scenario selected, and where each model element is sampled; and comparing, for each model element, each position coordinate of each model point with the corresponding position coordinate of the point nearest to at least one comparison area of the sparse point cloud (3), obtaining an array of deviation data.
