PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workstation, a system, and a method for performing a high-speed, quantitative, and comprehensive evaluation of the heart. Rapid quantitative evaluation of cardiac function is performed by strain measurements from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) images to obtain multiple MRI image sequences of the long and short axis planes of the patient's heart. Each MRI image sequence is acquired over a separate single heartbeat of the patient's heart during an image session in which the patient is in the bore of the MRI scanner with an active scan time of 5 minutes or less, and this circuit is the patient's. Based on multiple MRI image sequences of the heart, the strain of the myocardial heart tissue of the patient's heart is measured, and this circuit produces longitudinal and circumferential heart models with multiple adjacent compartments.
