To provide a production method of a lubricant satisfying the followings: a permanent self-lubricating property of the lubricant formed on a rolling element and a raceway surface in a rolling bearing device; a permanent self-lubricating property of the lubricant formed on a sliding surface in a plain bearing device; and no entry into boundary lubrication, no depletion of a lubricating oil, no deterioration of low-temperature startability, and no progression of thermal degradation of the lubricating oil in an oil retaining bearing device.SOLUTION: A lubricant applied on at least one of a raceway surface or a rolling element in a rolling bearing device having a rolling element and an inner ring and an outer ring composed of a soft magnetic material, a lubricant applied on a sliding surface of at least one of a bearing member or a shaft member in a plain bearing device, the shaft member composed of a soft magnetic material, or a lubricant vacuum-impregnated into a porous body including a sintered metal in an oil retaining bearing device having a shaft member composed of a soft magnetic material is produced with a suspension having a ferromagnetic metal fine particle 1 surrounded by a spherical fine particle 2 of the lubricating oil and dispersed in an aggregate of the spherical fine particle of the lubricating oil.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
