The present invention relates to a method for combining unification elements in a personal workspace, and to a computer program product and system applying the method. The method of the present invention comprises at least one element converter for obtaining at least one unified information unit corresponding to at least one raw information and/or at least one unified tool corresponding to at least one raw tool from at least one information source. (i) providing a personal workspace; (ii) providing the at least one unification information unit and/or the at least one unification tool to the personal workspace using the at least one element transformer; and (iii) performing a task using said at least one unification tool and/or said at least one unification information unit. The present invention provides a user-oriented unified personal workspace as long as the independence and incompatibility of web sites, operating systems and applications in the prior art limit the lack of data and information freedom.
