The present application provides a battery pack for a new energy vehicle, pertaining to the field of batteries for new energy vehicles. The battery pack for a new energy vehicle comprises a housing, a battery module, and a liquid cooling device. The housing has a shape matching a battery installation space of a new energy vehicle. The battery module is provided within the housing, and is formed by stacking at least two battery module blocks. The battery module blocks in the battery module have the same number or different numbers of cells, such that the shape of the battery module matches the shape of the housing. The liquid cooling device is attached and connected to the battery module, and is used to perform heat exchange with the battery module. The battery pack for a new energy vehicle of the present application has advantages of structural compactness, a high level of integration, shape flexibility, and superior thermal management performance, and is adaptable to battery installation spaces of various new energy vehicles. In addition, new energy vehicles having the battery pack for a new energy vehicle have high space efficiency, a long battery life, simple assembly, and low production and manufacturing costs.
