The present invention relates to a patient bed that can be used for various purposes by a patient in a hospital room, and can prevent accidents that may occur when using the table, and more particularly, it prevents a patient from spilling food by extending the table. It relates to a safety bed for patients, which can be used as a reading table if necessary, and has a multi-purpose dining table that can prevent accidents of body parts being pinched, comprising: a patient bed; a dining table attached to the patient bed; a connection unit for moving the dining table to a standby position and a dining table position; and a driving unit for supplying movement power of the connection unit, wherein the dining table includes: a main dining table; a first auxiliary table extending toward the upper body of the patient; a second sub-table protruding after the first sub-table and turning over to form an inclined surface; a first guide portion positioned as a pair at both ends of the lower portion of the second sub-table and guiding a path in which the first sub-table is coupled and slid; and a second guide portion positioned as a pair at both ends of the lower portion of the main dining table, and guiding a path in which the second auxiliary dining table is coupled and slid.
