Method for communication between two spaced objects 3, 4 by means of a communication arrangement, wherein the communication arrangement comprises a transmitting device 6 for arrangement on a first object 2 and a sensor device 10 for arrangement on a second object 3, wherein:– an optical signal 9 is emitted from the transmitter 6 and transmitted via a transmission path 4 to the sensor device 10,– wherein transmission data from the transmitting device to the sensor device are transmitted by means of the optical signal 9,– wherein the sensor device 10 comprises and/or forms an event camera and detects the optical signal 9 as event camera data.
