A method for manufacturing a self-standing packaging bag (1) comprising: a step of feeding a body long sheet material (6AR) and bonding lateral ends (6a, 6b) on both sides in a width direction crossing a feeding direction of the body long sheet material (6AR) together to form a long cylindrical body (8); a step of cutting out the cylindrical body (8) at a constant length in the feeding direction to form a plurality of sleeve-shaped bodies (9); a step of making cuts (6c) on both sides in the width direction in one opening end (9e) of each of the plurality of sleeve-shaped bodies (9); a step of inserting a half-folded bottom long sheet material (6BR) into the cuts (6c) of each of the plurality of sleeve-shaped bodies (9) in a state where each of the plurality of sleeve-shaped bodies (9) is arranged in a width direction thereof; a step of bonding each of the plurality of sleeve-shaped bodies (9) and the bottom long sheet material (6BR) inserted into the cuts (6c) of each of the plurality of sleeve-shaped bodies (9) together; and a step of dividing the bottom long sheet material (6BR) for each of the plurality of sleeve-shaped bodies (9).
