This invention pertains to the sector of biotechnology, in particular, to the field of human health. It provides vaccine compositions that induce a neutralizing immune response against the SARS- CoV-2 virus. These compositions include a portion of the receptor binding protein of the SARS-Cov-2 virus, as an antigen, vesicles derived from proteins of the outer membrane of Neisseria meningitidis group B bacteria, as an immunopotentiator, and an adjuvant. The vaccine compositions that are described in this invention can be used in the prevention of infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
