COATED NEGATIVE ELECTRODE ACTIVE MATERIAL PARTICLES FOR LITHIUM ION BATTERIES, NEGATIVE ELECTRODE FOR LITHIUM ION BATTERIES, LITHIUM ION BATTERY, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING COATED NEGATIVE ELECTRODE ACTIVE MATERIAL PARTICLES FOR LITHIUM ION BATTERIES
Coated negative electrode active material particles for lithium ion batteries, each of said coated negative electrode active material particles being obtained by covering at least a part of the surface of a negative electrode active material particle with a coating layer that contains a polymer compound and a compound (A), wherein: the polymer compound is a polymer which comprises a (meth)acrylic acid as a constituent monomer; the weight ratio of the (meth)acrylic acid in the polymer is from 70% by weight to 95% by weight based on the weight of the polymer; and the compound (A) is at least one compound that is selected from the group consisting of tetrahydrothiophene 1, 1-dioxide, ethylene carbonate and vinylene carbonate.
