The hollow inorganic particle according to this technology can be produced by a production method comprising: a coating step for coating core particles composed of organic polymers by using a silicone-based compound; and a core particle removal step for removing the core particles, wherein in the coating step, a dispersant adding step for adding a dispersant to a core particle dispersion and a surfactant adding step for adding a cationic surfactant after said dispersant adding step are carried out.
