Bacterial strain with a high yield of 5-aminolevulinic acid, production process and uses thereof

A method for constructing an ALA-producing bacterial strain, the method enhancing the activity of relevant enzymes that promote the synthesis of oxaloacetate in the 5-aminolevulinic acid (ALA)-producing bacterial strain, or exogenous relevant enzymes that promote the synthesis of oxaloacetate, such as phosphoenolpyruvate -carboxylase or pyruvate carboxylase, and/or reduces the activity of relevant enzymes in the downstream pathway of succinyl-coenzyme A, such as succinyl-coenzyme A synthetase or succinate dehydrogenase, in the bacterial strain and/or reduces the activity of phosphoenolpyruvate- carboxykinase and/or the malate enzyme. A high ALA yield bacterial strain constructed using the method and a method of using the bacterial strain to produce ALA.
