Aspects of the present invention disclose a method for securely storing data. The method includes one or more computer processors receiving, by one or more computer processors, a request for storing data, the data including a plurality of elements. The method further includes generating a plurality of items of encoded data by applying one or more encoding algorithms to the data, wherein an amount of the plurality of items of encoded data is equal to an amount of the plurality of items of data. The method further includes distributing the plurality of items of the encoded data into two or more subsets of the encoded data without duplication. The method further includes transmitting the two or more subsets of the encoded data to a corresponding set of two or more storage systems.
