Provided are a cloud platform deployment method and apparatus, a server and a storage medium. The method includes: acquiring a deployment instruction; and correspondingly deploying, according to the deployment instruction and a node type attribute and/or a role aggregation attribute in a role attribute of a set role, a role to be deployed to a target controller node. The role attribute includes the node type attribute and/or a role aggregation attribute, so that automatic deployment of a role to a target controller node group can be directly completed according to a node type supported by the role, or migration and aggregation of the role can be completed according to the role aggregation attribute of the role. The deployment difficulty and complexity of a cloud platform can be simplified, and the deployment flexibility of the cloud platform is improved.
