An electronic device for rendering a three hundred and sixty (360) degree image is provided. The electronic device includes a communication unit and a processor. The communication unit is configured to receive a first image, a second image and metadata from the camera. The processor transforms the first image and the second image to compensate for light fall-off, unwarps the transformed first image and the second image, and and render the 360 degree image by adjusting the adjusted first image and the second image, and blending the adjusted unwrapped first image and the second image.
