The invention relates to a method for stereoscopic vision of a celestial observation scene, comprising the steps consisting in: - acquiring an image of the observation scene by means of an optical vision device, - generating two homologous images of one or more stars contained in the observation scene, respectively a first image and a second image, said first image and said second image being offset from each other,- displaying the first images and the second images of way to obtain a stereoscopic vision of the observation scene. This process is remarkable in that it comprises the following steps: - identify one or more stars in the acquired image of the observation scene, - evaluate the distance between each identified star and the device, - for one or more identified stars, horizontally shifting the first image and the second image by a distance which is a function of the evaluated distance of said star.
