The present invention relates to the manufacture of graphene-based materials in powder form with industrial scalability. The particles obtained are mesoporous, consist of a few layers of graphene with a high degree of defects with high chemical stability and can be used in multidisciplinary technological fields such as catalysis, selective gas sensors, and materials for absorbing electromagnetic radiation in the microwave region.
