A polarised hollow conductor filter (1) is formed, with the polarised hollow conductor filter (1) comprising a first rectangular hollow conductor (11);a second rectangular hollow wire (15);and a rectangular hollow resonator (13),which has a first edge surface (13a) connected to an electromagnetic wave output level (11b) of the first rectangular hollow wire (11) via a coupling unit (12) and a second edge surface (13b), which is directed to the first edge surface (13a) and is connected to an electromagnetic wave detection level (15a) of the second rectangular hollow wire (15) via a coupling unit (14), each of which is stimulated by a TE10 mode and a TE20 mode of an electromagnetic wave, and the rectangular cavity resonator (13) has two first wall surfaces (13c, 13d) and two second wall surfaces (13e, 13f),which are narrower than the first wall surfaces (13c, 13d);and with a head start (16a, 16b),which shifts a TE10-mode resonance frequency and a TE20-mode resonance frequency by different amounts to at least one of the first two wall surfaces (13c, 13d) so designed to emerge from the rectangular cavity resonator (13).
