System for morphology segmentation of brain MRI modes based on E-Fuzzy characteristics and threshold values, including:a pre-processing module that is configured to remove noise from the MRI images and thereby preserves important details in the image using a variety of average filters;a feature extraction module in continuation of the pre-processing module to provide information at a higher level of the image using an extended grey-level co-appearance matrix (E-GLCM);a characteristic fusion module used to detect tumours by merging two or more medical images by combining features from multiple MRI modes at the same time to a new image using the extended grey-level co-incidence matrix (E-GLCM); anda segmentation module for the separation of tumour and normal brain tissue for the detection of brain tumours using segmentation based on threshold values and morphological operations for accurate and efficient segmentation.
