An adhesion-type parallel machining robot, comprising a machining module and an adhesion module. The machining module comprises a fixed platform (11), a movable platform (15), multiple branches (12, 13, 14, 17, 18) and an executor (16). Motion of multiple freedom degrees is achieved by means of the linear motion of the multiple branches (12, 13, 14, 17, 18). The adhesion module comprises multiple fixed adhesion branches (21, 22, 23). Each adhesion branch (21, 22, 23) comprises a connection support (201), an adhesion device (204), adhesion locking devices (205, 206), an omni-directional wheel (203) and a driving device (202) and is used for achieving adhesion and movement by the robot on the surface of a workpiece. In addition to the locking function, the adhesion locking devices (205, 206) additionally have a cleaning function, and can clean away residual cutting chippings on the robot. The robot has the advantages of flexible local posture adjustment, high machining efficiency, broad machining range, convenient dismounting and mounting, good portability and low energy consumption, and can meet the requirement for the moving and machining of large components.
