The method comprises: when the content is displayed, determining a display screen which currently displays the content, when the display screen is a first display screen, drawing, according to DPI corresponding to a terminal device, the content in a first canvas corresponding to the first display screen, and displaying the first canvas in which the content is drawn; when the display screen is a second display screen, determining, according to the DPI, PPI corresponding to the first display screen, and PPI corresponding to the second display screen, a first display proportion corresponding to the first display screen and a second display proportion corresponding to the second display screen, determining, according to the first display proportion and the second display proportion, the scaling proportion of a second canvas corresponding to the second display screen to scale the second canvas, and then drawing, according to the DPI, the content in a third canvas obtained by scaling, restoring, according to the scaling proportion, the third canvas in which the content is drawn, and then displaying the restored third canvas. The consistency of the display effect of the first display screen and the second display screen is improved.
