A control circuit, a cigarette case, a cigarette rod, an electronic cigarette, and a control method for an electronic cigarette. The method comprises: receiving a connection request from a second component of an electronic cigarette, wherein the connection request carries identification information of the second component (S210); when the identification information successfully matches preset identification information, responding to the connection request, and taking a first output port as a first communication port (S220); acquiring the connection duration of a communication link (S230); when the connection duration is longer than a first preset communication duration, generating a first switching instruction, wherein the first switching instruction is configured to take the first output port as a first charging port (S240); and executing the switching instruction (S250). When a communication link is successfully established between a first component and the second component, the first component communicates with the second component by means of the first output port; and when the communication duration is longer than the first preset communication duration, the first output port is switched to serve as a charging port, and the first component charges the second component by means of the first output port, thereby reducing connection ports between the first component and the second component, and simplifying the structure of an electronic cigarette.
