The present invention relates to a baitcasting reel provided with a non-emerging type mechanical brake and, more specifically, to a baitcasting reel provided with a non-emerging type mechanical brake, in which a casted fishing line is rewound through a spool on which the fishing line can be wound, and a handle connected to the spool, and the baitcasting reel has a structure in which a mechanical brake which allows adjusting the rotation of the spool is built in a left palm cover. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the baitcasting reel, which is a dual-bearing reel having two shafts, is operated by a direct driving method in which a rotation roller in a body rotates and winds the fishing line, the rotation roller having a mechanical brake formed therein, wherein the baitcasting reel comprises: a frame forming a certain space therein; a spool rotatably coupled to the frame; a spool shaft inserted into and passing through the spool such that an end portion thereof is coupled to a rotating body; and a mechanical brake that is rotatably inserted in and coupled to one side of the inner circumferential surface of the frame.
