A process for ensuring the secure delivery of information about a patient sends a verification fax sheet to a fax number of a recipient instructing the recipient to go to a website; validates the recipient after the recipient has visited the website; tests the recipient at the website using questions specific to the patient; and sends the confidential information to the fax number if the recipient passes the test.
