The invention concerns a moderator repair element (10) for a graphical body arrangement serving as a moderator in a gas-cooled nuclear reactor. The moderator repair element (10) is characterized by the fact that cutting elements (12) and distance elements (24) are arranged on a thought plane around a thought middle axis in a first order (11) within a first thought circle, that the cutting elements (12) on their radially outward facing surfaces have cutting agents, that the cutting elements (12) on their radially inward facing surfaces have drive binders for connection to a drive, that the cutting elements (12) on their radially oriented surfaces have the first means of connection, that the distance elements (24) have the second means of connection on their radially oriented surfaces. In addition, the cutting elements (12) can be moved outwards in a radial direction to a given position and the specified position is so determined that the distance elements(24) between two radially adjacent cutting elements (12) are interchangeable. The distance elements (24) are movable in radial and/or axial direction to the outside or to the outside as well as axially to another position and the distancesnte (24) are interlaced in the further position between two radially adjacent cutting elements (12). The cutting elements (12) are also arranged in the specified position and the interlaced distance elements (24) to a second arrangement (46)which are arranged within a second thought circle. Finally, the first and second connecting devices are connected in a coherent form when the cutting elements (12) and the distance elements (24) are arranged in the second arrangement (46). The invention also concerns a moderator repair element tool and tool system with which the moderator repair element (10) can be mounted.
