A height-adjustable table (1) with a locking system (2) for locking the height-adjustable table (1) in a vehicle (12) is revealed, the table (1) having a component below the table in its installation, by which the table (1) can be supported on a floor of the vehicle, and a moving component, which is mobile relative to the component below and which is trained to adjust a table top relative to the component below in height. A first locking element (9) is connected to the moving component,and a second locking element (10) is connected to the ground of the vehicle (12). The movable component produces a clamping force through a formless connection between the first locking element (9) and the second locking element (10) to prevent a displacement of the height adjustable table (1).
