Imine obtainable by reacting (i) an amino-functionalized polyoxyalkylene whose polyoxyalkylene chains are a copolymer of oxyethylene and oxypropylene units, these polyoxyalkylene chains (preferably two terminal ones per molecule) carrying primary amino groups, and (ii) a ketone and/or aldehyde with a hydrogen atom at the carbon atom alpha to the carbonyl carbon; and various objects of the invention based thereon, particularly in coating or adhesive systems.
