This wireless communication system in which a spectrum sharing is performed with a subjected-to-interference station comprises: N repeaters (wherein N is an integer that is three or more); and a transmitting station and a receiving station that perform wireless communications via at least one repeater selected among from the N repeaters. Repeater channel information indicates the channel characteristic of a propagation path from the transmitting station to the subjected-to-interference station via each repeater. A repeater selecting device divides, on the basis of the repeater channel information, the N repeaters into M clusters (where M is an integer that is two or more but less than N). Further, the repeater selecting device selects M representative repeaters that represent the respective ones of the M clusters. Furthermore, the repeater selecting device selects, on the basis of the repeater channel information, at least one selected repeater from among the M representative repeaters such that the interference level in the subjected-to-interference station satisfies a predetermined condition.
