This aerial image display input device 1 is provided with: an aerial image projection unit 2 which internally holds a rectangular display unit 3 that displays a prescribed image, and externally holds a rectangular image transmission plate 4 for projecting the image displayed on the display unit 3 onto a three-dimensional space projection plane 10 visible to the user, and which, as an input guidance screen (input operation buttons 30) for the user, forms the image displayed on the display unit 3 in the air; an input detection sensor 5 which detects aerial operations on the input guidance screen by the user; and a control unit 7 which performs prescribed control.
