Fuel injector (16) of a dual-fuel combustion engine which is designed to supply fuel to a combustion chamber (33) of a cylinder (12) of the dual-fuel combustion engine with a base body (27),with a nozzle needle movable in a needle guide (30) of the base body (27) (28),with a needle fuel compartment defined by the base body (27) (31),which can be coupled over openings (32) with the firing chamber (33) of the cylinder (12), the openings (32) open in a first position of the nozzle needle (28) and closed in a second position of the nozzle needle (28), with a first line (34) inserted into the base body (27), which is coupled to the fuel compartment (31), where a fuel can be fed into the fuel compartment (31) via the first line (34), and where a second line (35) separated from the first line is inserted into the base body (27),which is connected on the one hand to the needle guide (30) and on the other hand to a control room (36) of a control valve (29) of the fuel injector (16), with a fuel of the needle guide (30) as a lock flow and the control room (36) as a working fluid being fed through the second line (25).
