A buffer rack device based on an automated photography line for transparent root system cultivation containers (3), comprising a horizontal support frame (3-2), two vertical support frames (3-12) positioned on a same side of the horizontal support frame (3-2), and two buffering frames (G, H), arranged symmetrically and used for placement of transparent root system cultivation containers. The two vertical support frames (3-12) are respectively connected on two ends of the horizontal support frame (3-2), and one end of each of the two buffering frames (G, H) is rotatably connected at the location of connection between a vertical support frame (3-12) and the horizontal support frame (3-2), causing the two buffering frames (G, H) to both be able to rotate between the vertical support frames (3-12) and the horizontal support frame (3-2). The two buffering frames (G, H) are able to rotate between the vertical support frames (3-12) and the horizontal support frame (3-2), and are used to buffer transparent root system cultivation containers prior to being loaded onto or after being unloaded from a conveyance trolley (2), and are matched with the conveyance trolley (2), which is used for simultaneous loading and unloading of transparent root system cultivation containers at photographing stations. The invention satisfies high-throughput and automated transport requirements, improving working efficiency, and saving time and costs. The entire buffering frame device is based on the design principles of modularization and high efficiency, and the system structure is light and simple.
