FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM AND FIRE EXTINGUISHING METHOD SUITABLE FOR UHV CONVERTER STATION AND UHV CONVERTER STATION

A fire extinguishing system and fire extinguishing method suitable for a UHV converter station, and the UHV converter station, wherein the fire extinguishing system comprises a sprinkler fire extinguishing system and a fire monitor fire extinguishing system. The sprinkler fire extinguishing system comprises first fire-fighting pipelines and sprinkler pipes. The fire monitor fire extinguishing system comprises second fire-fighting pipelines and fire monitors. Firewalls at two sides of each converter transformer in the UHV converter station are each arranged with a fire monitor directly above same, and each fire monitor communicates with a second fire-fighting pipeline. The firewalls at two sides of each converter transformer are each provided with a sprinkler pipe, and each of the sprinkler pipes communicate with a first fire-fighting pipeline. The fire monitors and outlets of the sprinkler pipes of the first fire-fighting pipelines at the location at which each converter transformer is located all directly face the converter transformers. The fire extinguishing system has the advantages of solving the shortcomings and defects of the existing fire extinguishing system designs, and achieving efficient and reliable fire extinguishing.
