The invention relates to a method for sorting insects comprising the successive steps of: - supplying (S1) a mixture comprising nymphs; and - sieving (S3), which allows the nymphs to be separated from the remainder of the mixture, comprising sieving (S4) said mixture with a plastic screen sieve. This method can be supplemented by densimetric sorting. The invention also relates to a corresponding device for sorting insects.
