The present invention relates to: a composition which is for predicting or diagnosing the risk of at least one disease selected from among diabetes, obesity, liver disease, and renal disease by using intestinal microbes; a diagnostic kit which is for predicting diagnosing disease risk and comprises the composition; a method for providing information for predicting or diagnosing the risk of disease; and a method for screening an agent for preventing or treating a disease. The present invention makes it possible to predict or diagnose disease risk through an agent capable of detecting a biomarker strain that can detect the disease, and screen an agent for preventing or treating the disease.
