The present invention relates to a composition for surface modification of a substrate comprising polyethersulfone (PES) and a surface modification method using same, wherein when surface modification is performed according to the present invention, an effect of increasing thermal stability for a flexible substrate is significantly excellent and a high-conductivity high-resolution printing pattern can be realized, and therefore, the present invention can be effectively used for surface modification of a substrate for electrode printing.
